Special notice for participants from previous years:
We’re thrilled to welcome you back for another season of unforgettable trail running! As we gear up for 2024-25, we’ve made a small but important change that we wanted to make clear to you.
This season, we’ve decided to streamline the events by removing complimentary t-shirts from most events - including this one. This change allows us to keep event entry prices affordable—something we feel is important. To give you an idea, since 2018, the entry fee for a 10K has only increased by £2, despite significant rising costs. Thanks to improved efficiencies, we’ve been able to keep this increase minimal, ensuring you continue to get good value.
But don’t worry—you will still have the opportunity to grab an Endurancelife t-shirt (or other awesome event merchandise) at a heavily discounted price during Check-in. We hope you’ll take advantage of this great offer and wear your Endurancelife gear with pride!

Treat yourself to a weekend away?
Make a luxury weekend of it! Although there is lots of accommodation in Eastbourne we highly recommend checking out East Dean village just five minutes outside of the town. Not only is East Dean a quintessentially beautiful English village but it is located perfectly as one of the best spectator spots on the Ultra, Marathon and Half Marathon routes. If your other half enjoys a lie-in this is the place to stay!
Lodges / houses available through: Beachy Head Holiday Cottages.
B&B accommodation: The Tiger Inn.
With the world famous Seven Sisters, and far reaching views out over the English Channel, these courses are already attracting international recognition. The Sussex 10K, half, marathon and ultra routes shoulder the coastal towns of Eastbourne and Seaford, which lie to the eastern section of the South Downs National Park. Where the land meets the sea, the results have produced one of the most iconic coastal landscapes of Britain - vast cliffs of brilliant white chalk.
Based from the conveniently located Helen Gardens in Eastbourne, the event base is perfectly positioned for runners to explore this dramatic cliff ridden coastline. Expect a few ups and downs as you negotiate that beautiful rolling downland!
This event is part of the Season Leaderboard!
Virtual : Don't forget to connect with us via the official Facebook Event where you can select "Going" or "Interested". Here you can network with others and join in the conversation by asking questions and advice.
In Person : We recommend two places to meet fellow participants and chew the fat after a tough day on the trails:
The Pilot Inn, Eastbourne, BN20 7RW. Just a stone's throw from the event base and the perfect place for a beer!
The Tiger Inn, East Dean village, BN20 0BY. Just a few miles up the road, this is our favourite pub and it's right on the course too (so ideal for spectating). Serving "hearty food", teas, coffee, drinks etc. from 12 midday till 9pm.
Participants, supporters, and friends. All welcome.
