Are you an endurance sport enthusiast with a passion for the outdoors? Join Endurancelife as a Part-Time Events Support Specialist, and prepare for a thrilling journey of delivering endurance challenges in the most stunning locations.
About Endurancelife:
Endurancelife specialises in creating breathtaking endurance challenges, and we're expanding our team. We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual to support our Events Team during the event delivery phase, and the best part - all travel, food and accommodation cost are covered!
Role Overview:
As a Part-Time Events Support Specialist, you'll be the unsung hero behind the scenes, making sure our events run smoother than a well-oiled bicycle chain (but with more mud). This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys getting stuck into event delivery work!
Extensive Travel: Jet-set to breathtaking locations. Most of our events are UK based but we do have a small but growing number overseas. All are stunning bucket-list locations.
Commitment Management: Choose what works for you but we do ask for a minimum of 8 event commitments per year (currently we operate 15 events each year). Each event is different but most require 4 days of work (Thursday to Sunday inclusive).
Weekend Work: Most of this is weekend work so if you can't bear to lose your Friday night over a Saturday night in the pub with us then this isn't for you!
Responsibilities:
Event Execution: Get hands-on during the event delivery phase, ensuring everything goes off without a hitch. Marking routes, preparing checkpoints and assembling event hardware.
Course Marking: signing out the routes. This is a great job if you love your fitness but it is hard work! (NB: You do need to be able to read a map).
Managing Checkpoints: Pulling off events requires lots of man power. You will be needing to take the initiative and ensure checkpoints are operational on event day and making sure the Crew (aka marshals) are up to scratch!
Hardware: We work as a team to set up and pack down the event infrastructure. If you like Tetris then fitting everything back into the vans will be for you!
Qualifications:
Passion for the outdoors and trail running is a must.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions. If you enjoy a good brew then that's also a bonus :)
Never Give Up attitude. Need we say more!
Ability to follow instructions one minute and then think on your feet the next.
Previous experience in events work is advantageous but a friendly positive attitude and a love of the outdoors is all that is really required.
Driving licence.
Benefits:
Flexible part-time schedule to work around you. £125 to £150 per day compensation depending upon experience.
Travel expenses, food and accommodation are all covered.
Waterproof kit, Inov-8 shoes and lots of other kit perks.
Remote work, no need to be located in Devon (where the business is based).
Opportunity for the role to continue on a part-time basis or potentially become a full-time position after 18 months.
Recruitment Process:
1. Submit your contact information, including a short blurb expressing your passion for the role, using the form below.
2. Phone Interview: Successful candidates will undergo a phone interview to discuss their experience and suitability for the role.
3. On-Site Event Participation: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to meet the team and actively contribute to one of our upcoming events on the following dates:

Northumberland on the 24th of February.
Sussex on the 9th of March.
